Sheki observes flow of patients on CHI

18:01 - 15.01.2020

January 15, Fineko/abc.az. Sheki is one of the districts where the application of compulsory health insurance at the initial stage started since this January. ABC.AZ reports that Sarkhan Musayev, deputy director of public legal entity Sheki Central District Hospital, said that since the beginning of January more than 10,000 residents have applied to the hospital. Of them, 140 were involved in inpatient treatment, and 8,508 in outpatient treatment. On average, up to 1,500-2,000 people go to the hospital during the day.

It should be noted that in those districts that have switched to compulsory health insurance, there is an appeal of the population to hospitals regardless of the need. This prevents a decrease in the quality of services and the receipt of medical services by real patients.
