January 16, Fineko/abc.az. Currently, 18,170 people are work at Azerbaijan Railways (ADY).

ABC.AZ reports that the relevant statement was made by ADY chairman of board Javid Gurbanov at the ADY board meeting.

He noted that 1,046 people were employed by the Company last year.

Touching the matter of recruitment of personnel, Gurbanov stressed that the process is fully electronic: "The mobile electronic test system and an electronic test center have been put into operation, and other launch operations have been centralized. 1,365 people from various higher educational institutions have passed the experience of production on the railways. 5,341 employees were involved in various trainings. Last year, 51 employees were awarded badge "Honorary Railway Worker" and a cash prize. 49 people received title "Veteran of Labor".

"In comparison with 2015, the salary ofd the railworker increased by 103%, growing from 270 manats up to 549 manats," Gurbanov said.
