January 31, Fineko/abc.az. Elman Rustamov, the chairman of the Central Bank of Azerbaijan, expressed his attitude towards the question of improvement of the insurance sector in Azerbaijan.

The chief banker noted that the CBA together with the World Bank will conduct evaluation work in the insurance sector.

ABC.AZ reports that the above-mentioned statement was made by Rustamov at a press conference on the announcement of the parameters of the interest rate corridor.

The country's chief banker also disclosed the main goals of working in the insurance sector: "The main goal is to fill in the gaps in the insurance sector and further develop the insurance market."
