February 20, Fineko/abc.az. The State Agency for Mandatory Health Insurance plans to open a branch network in the districts of Azerbaijan.

ABC.AZ reports that the relevant statement was made by Agency's director Zaur Aliyev at a press conference.

Aliyev noted that the number of branches will reach 11. Agency’s head also noted that new family health centers have been created in all hospitals or polyclinics: "There are pediatricians, obstetricians, gynecologists, and therapists. In connection with emergency medical care, I’d like to inform you that there used to be a reception department there, now we have changed this system. We’ve created an emergency department at the reception departments. What does it mean? Hospital rooms have been created there and the patient's condition is reviewed there. If necessary, the patient is placed in the hospital, otherwise, is released home after primary care."
