March 12, Fineko/abc.az. The Azerbaijan Food Safety Agency (AQTA) has conducted an inspection at a warehouse located at address: Binagadi district, Binagadi Highway, 7th Lane, Baku.

ABC.AZ was informed at AQTA that the raid revealed the fact of selling vegetable and cream spreads under trademark Goldenline, imported by LV Standart LLC. The spreads were divided into parts of 800 grams and 1 kg and marked on the packaging as cream butter Goldenline.

Besides, it was found out that the consumer properties of oils are not specified, and the packaging of oils does not contain information about the presence of vegetable oil in their composition.

The inspectors found 670 kg of raw materials and 315 kg of butter, packaged under the guise of butter with trademark Goldenline at the warehouse. Product samples were submitted for examination to the appropriate laboratories of the Institute of Food Safety.

On the basis of the revealed facts, AQTA restricted warehouse's activities and the sale of products under the guise of butter was prevented.

The investigation is ongoing.
