March 17, Fineko/abc.az. The entry/exit of persons and automobiles from Georgia and Iran is currently prohibited.

ABC.AZ reports with reference to the State Customs Committee that from 18 March these restrictions will be applied at customs and border checkpoints located on the border with Russia.

The restrictions cover only passengers and automobiles. There are no restrictions on the entry/exit of cargo vehicles.

The movement of cargo transit motor vehicles on the territory of the country is accompanied by the state traffic police.

Cargo vehicles arriving from other countries are sent to their destination after disinfection.

At present, the SCC’s routine of work has been enhanced and all the necessary steps are being taken to ensure smooth and fast trade.
