Number of tourists in Gabala has increased sharply - Statistics

March 18, Fineko/abc.az. Over Jan-Feb 2020 there was a sharp increase in the number of tourists coming to Gabala.

ABC.AZ reports with reference to the Gabala District Statistics Department that for the reported term 23,506 local and foreign tourists lived in hotel and hotel-type facilities in Gabala. Of them, 15,662 or 66.6% are citizens of Azerbaijan and 7,844 or 33.4% are citizens of foreign countries.

This means that over the reported period the number of tourists staying in hotels increased by 5,716 people or 32.1% against the 2019 same term.
