March 31, Fineko/abc.az. The government's support program to reduce the impact of global shocks on Azerbaijan will cover four sectors and 20 spheres of activities.

ABC.AZ reports that the above-mentioned statement was made by Vusal Gasimli, the executive director of the Center for Analysis of Economic Reforms & Communications.

Gasimli pointed out that the economy minister-led workgroup assessed the damage to the spheres on three categories and divides them into three groups: "The most important areas with minimal damage. This approach is important in terms of the fairness and targeting of the support program, as well as the efficient use of resources. In this context, nine program projects are being developed. First of all, it should be noted that the program covers 44,000 entrepreneurs and 304,000 employees. It should be taken into account that 915,000 of the approximately 1.6 million hired employees in Azerbaijan regularly receive salaries, as they already working in the state and oil sectors. The State will support the remaining 304,000 out of 640 thousand employees. Here, the wage fund of a business entity will be supported by the state in accordance with the degree of damage caused to its sphere of activity. Of course, the main criterion is the level of the average salary of 712 manats."
