Azerbaijan introduces e-procurement system in management of rural projects

January 5, Fineko/abc.az. The State Agency for Management of Agricultural Projects & Credits of the Ministry of Agriculture of Azerbaijan is preparing to use e-procurement.

The Agency reports that with this purpose it examines the existing practice, in particular through the Korean International Cooperation Agency of Korea (KOICA).

"Centralized procurement process will be ensured as a result of use of e-system that will enable to reduce costs, fasten the procurement process and enhance its transparency. The pilot project will be applied to international projects managed by the Agency," it was informed.
