EU allocated EUR 2 million to Azerbaijani agricultural sector

April 9, Fineko/abc.az. 4 EU grant agreements in the field of agriculture with a total value of about EUR 2 million have been registered by the Ministry of Justice.

ABC.AZ reports that the goal is to strengthen and diversify rural incomes by promoting local nutrition concepts, as well as creating networks of local agricultural advisory services.

"These agreements will provide practical support to small and medium-sized business owners in all corners of Azerbaijan, help them further develop their business, open jobs and generate income," said the head of the EU Mission, Ambassador Kestutis Yankauskas.
