President allocated money for improvement of irrigation and water supply system in Oguz district

April 13, Fineko/abc.az. President Ilham Aliyev has signed an order on additional measures aimed to improve the provision of irrigation water to crop areas in Oguz district and to meet the needs of the population for drinking water.

ABC.AZ reports that in compliance with the order the State Budget allocated AZN 700,000 to Melioration & Water Industry Management Company of Azerbaijan.

The finances will be directed for the design of 10 subartesian wells to meet the water needs of crop areas in nine populated localities of Oguz district with 12,736 residents.
