Azerbaijani President signs a decree on quarantine - Change

April 13, Fineko/abc.az. A change has been made to the List of officials authorized to consider cases of administrative violations.

ABC.AZ reports that in this regard, President Ilham Aliyev signed a relevant decree. Paragraphs 2.2 and 2.4 of the document have been amended in compliance with the newly-signed presidential decree.

In accord with the decree Article 211 of the Code of Administrative Offences establishes penalties for violations of the anti-epidemic regime, sanitary-hygienic and quarantine regimes. For violation of those rules the individual is punished with a fine of 100-200 manats, officials - in the amount of 1,500-2,000 manats, or administrative arrest for the period of up to one month, with taking into account the person who committed the offense. Legal entities are also penalized with a fine of 2,000-5,000 manats.
