Azerbaijan met its commitment on reduction of oil production as part of OPEC/NOPEC deal in December 2017

January 9, Fineko/abc.az. Last month Azerbaijan fulfilled the undertaken commitment to reduce oil production as part of the OPEC/NOPEC transaction.

The Ministry of Energy of Azerbaijan reports that it provided information on production to the OPEC Mixed Technical Commission, which conducts joint monitoring on the reduction of oil production.

"In December Azerbaijan’s daily production reached 810,000 barrels versus 790,700 in November, 800,600 in October, 785,700 in September, 734,800 in August,796,700 barrels in July, 793,700 barrels in June, 785,300 barrels in May, 781,100 barrels in April, 733,300 in March, 776,400 in February and 793,900 in January,” the Ministry said in a statement.

Azerbaijan exported daily 649,100 barrels of crude oil, 54,900 barrels of condensate and 20,100 barrels of petroleum products in December.

The Vienna OPEC/NOPEC deal will be valid until the end of 2018.
