April 16, Fineko/abc.az. Azerbaijan registered an increase in food prices for the past month.

ABC.AZ reports with reference to the State Statistics Committee that the grown prices for nonfoods for the reported period were unveiled as well.

Thus, compared with February, this March’s prices increased for certain nonfoods as follows: nitro paints, wallpaper, polyethylene water pipes, boards, bricks, sets of chairs and upholstered furniture, carpets, juicers, electric kettles, plates, cups and saucers, medical alcohol, medical thermometers, synthetic detergents in the form of powder, batteries for passenger cars. The decline in prices for nonfoods was mainly observed on the following goods: electric stoves and personal computers. There were no significant changes in prices for other non-food products.

In March the consumer price index for paid services to the population was 0% against February 2020 and 1.2% against March 2019.
