President`s aide: Quarantine regime should not be lifted immediately

April 16, Fineko/abc.az. Based on the experience of other countries, Azerbaijan needs to extend the quarantine.

ABC.AZ reports that the relevant statement was made by President’s aide and head of the Department for Foreign Policy of the Presidential Administration Khikmet Hajiyev at a briefing of the Cabinet Ministers Operational Headquarters.

He noted that cases of infection with the virus and the area are under control.

"On the recommendation of the World Health Organization, the quarantine regime should not be immediately lifted," he emphasized.
