What countries were visited most often by Azerbaijani citizens for Jan-Mar?

April 17, Fineko/abc.az. Over Jan-Mar 2020 there was a decrease in the number of Azerbaijani citizens traveling abroad. Thus, for the first 3 months of 2020 Azerbaijani citizens traveling abroad decreased by 23.3% (versus Jan-Mar 2019) to 932,500 people.

ABC.AZ reports with reference to the State Statistics Committee that 34.1% of citizens visited Iran, 30.0% - Georgia, 20.4% - the Russian Federation, 9.8% - Turkey, and 5.7% - other countries. 68.5% were men and 31.5% were women.

During this period the number of Azerbaijani citizens who went to Iran declined by 32.8%, Turkey by 23.8%, Georgia by 16.7%, and the Russian Federation by 13.8%.
