April 28, Fineko/abc.az. President Ilham Aliyev has approved a document with the amendments to the Internal Charter of the Parliament of Azerbaijan endorsed by the Law #74-IQ of Azerbaijan Republic on 17 May 1996.

ABC.AZ reports that Article 3 of the Internal Charter is added Part 8 of the following content:

"Based on the appeal of 42 MPs in connection with the application of the quarantine regime, sanitary-epidemiological and other measures of this kind, the Milli Majlis chairman makes an order on holding of meetings of the Parliament, including its committees and commissions, for a certain period through a video conference system in real time. Registration and voting at meetings in the video conference format is carried out by means of an enhanced e-signature of MPs."

The amending document will be in effect until 30 December 2020.
