President Ilham Aliyev: We need export support from EBRD

April 29, Fineko/abc.az. One of the challenges awaiting the Azerbaijani economy is to reduce the share of the shadow economy.

ABC.AZ reports that President Ilham Aliyev said this during a video conference with EBRD president Suma Chakrabarti.

The head of state noted that currently nine projects are being discussed between Azerbaijan and the EBRD. President Aliyev said that Azerbaijan is interested in large investments to overcome the crisis due to the coronavirus, with minimal losses.

"We also need export support from your Bank," the Azerbaijani leader emphasized.
