May 4, Fineko/abc.az. The proposed Summit Declaration says that the Non-Aligned Movement is to create a single database to take into account the humanitarian and medical needs of countries to combat the pandemic. This database will be transferred to the donor countries.

ABC.AZ reports that the relevant statement was made by Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev at a videoconference on 4 May at a NAM Contact Group meeting on topic “We are Together Against COVID-19", dedicated to the fight against coronavirus.

The head of state noted: "Azerbaijan will allocate an additional $5 million to the World Health Organization for support of countries affected by COVID-19 coronavirus.  These funds will be used to help countries in Africa, Asia, and Latin America affected by COVID-19."
