Tobacco crops increased in this district - to date, they occupy 24 hectares

May 8, Fineko/abc.az. Tobacco planting has started in Masalli district of Azerbaijan.

ABC.AZ reports that so far the district has planted tobacco on an area of 24.2 hectares.

Tobacco producers prefer during planting more fragrant and valuable tobacco variety Imunium.

This year, it is planned to plant tobacco on 50 hectares in Masalli district, by two hectares in each village.

Last year tobacco was planted on 35 hectares in Masalli.

Tobacco farmers transferred 57.2 tons of dry tobacco to supply point Ilham LLC operating in the city of Sheki.
