Azerbaijani customs officers prevented illegal import of 1.5 ton of sturgeon

January 12, Fineko/abc.az. The Baku Main Customs Department ceased the fact of attempt of illegal import of a large shipment of sturgeon.

The State Customs Committee (SCC) informs that the offender, a citizen of Azerbaijan, tried to import illegal fish shipment in the KAMAZ truck in Baku.

"The violator tried to import 1 ton and 408 kg (496 units) of sturgeon in plastic bags filled with sea water," the Committee said.
