July 7, Fineko/abc.az. In a short time grain was harvested from 16,802 hectare of Salyan's crop areas and 65,150 tons of products were prepared.

ABC.AZ was informed at the Regional State Center for Agricultural Development that last autumn the district farmers sowed 16,802 hectares of grain crops in the district for the current year's harvest.

Of them, barley was sown on the area of 11,246 hectares wheat on the area of 5,556 hectares. Farmers collected 65,150 tons of grain and completed the harvest. It was gathered 24,103 tons of wheat and 41,47 tons of barley. 40 centners of grain were collected from each hectare of harvesting operations, which is 2 centners more than last year.
