January 25, Fineko/abc.az. Azerbaijan is numbering 38,500 officially registered unemployed persons.

The State Statistics Committee of Azerbaijan reports that precisely such a quantity of people receive unemployment benefits in the country.

"The average size of unemployment benefit in the country is 291.2 manats," the Committee informed.

As of 1 January 2018 the number of economically active population reached 4,073,800 people, including 4,822,100 people provided with employment.
