September 14, Fineko/abc.az. It is regrettable that local insurance companies are likely to close after some time.

ABC.AZ reports that the relevant statement was made today by Azer Aliyev, chairman of the Supervisory Board of the Azerbaijan Insurers’ Association (ASA), at the presentation of the new ASA concept.

He noted that if there are 10 insurance companies on the market today, and five of them are more professional, then the market will develop more efficiently.

Aliyev also touched upon the matter of activity of small insurers in the market: "Today, some small insurance companies can't even pay membership fees. How will they be able to compensate to the client?.. For us, the chief thing is customer satisfaction, so insurers must further improve their activities."
