September 21, Fineko/abc.az. Azerbaijan does not plan to raise the retirement age of men in Azerbaijan.

ABC.AZ reports that the relevant statement was made by Ayhan Mejidov, an employee of the State Social Protection Fund under the Ministry of Labor & Social Protection, on the occasion of the rules for assigning and calculating pensions.

The current retirement age limit is 65 for men and 62 for women, he said, adding that the final retirement age for men is 65.

"There will be no increase in the retirement age for men. Men over 65 will be able to retire permanently. For women, the age of 62 will be valid until June 30, 2021. After that, the retirement age will be increased by 6 months.
