September 24, Fineko/abc.az. At the expense of the Agrarian Credit & Development Agency (AKIA), 1,895 farmers received micro-loans for totally up to AZN 18 million.

ABC.AZ was informed at the Ministry of Agriculture that AZN 15 million of those micro-loans were given to farmers engaged in animal husbandry.

In general, since the beginning of 2020 AKIA has given loans and micro-loans to Azerbaijani farmers for totally AZN 51 million.

Over the past period, AKIA paid over AZN 64 million to participants of the agricultural sector for the purchase of agricultural machinery and breeding animals. These finances make up the amount of benefits paid by the state for 5,876 breeding animals and 4,140 agricultural machinery facilities received by farmers from suppliers.
