Data on voluntary car insurance premiums and compensations unveiled

October 5, Fineko/abc.az. The Central Bank of Azerbaijan has published a report on a range of types of insurance over Jan-Aug 2020.

ABC.AZ informs that the country’s insurance companies collected premiums for AZN 25.629 million (rise of 16% versus Jan-Aug 2019) and paid compensations for AZN 8.327 million (rise of 6.2%) on the voluntary motor vehicle insurance.

For the first 8 months local insurers’ premiums on all types of insurance amounted to AZN 528.65 million (an annual rise of 12.5%) and compensation payments AZN 262.996 million (rise of 49.9%).
