October 7, Fineko/abc.az. The minimum wage in Geneva has been raised up to record levels.

ABC.AZ reports that the minimum wage in Geneva is now set at 23 Swiss francs ($25) per hour.

This means that during the 41-hour working week, the minimum wage per month will reach 4,000 francs, or $4,300.

In this regard, a referendum was held, and 58% agreed with this change.

The goal of setting such high wages is to fight poverty and strengthen social integration.
