Azerbaijan reports a sharp fall of visits by foreigners for Jan-Sept

October 16, Fineko/abc.az. Azerbaijan registered visits of 686,300 foreign citizens and stateless persons from 155 countries for the past 9 months of 2020, and this indicator is 3.5-fold less compared with Jan-Sept 2019, ABC.AZ reports with reference to the State Statistics Committee.

The application of a restrictive regime on the state border between Azerbaijan and neighboring states in order to prevent the spread of coronavirus infection led to a sharp reduction in the number of arrivals in our country between April and September of this year.
