October 21, Fineko/abc.az. Since the beginning of 2020 about 8,000 unemployed and job-seekers have been involved in the self-employment program in Azerbaijan.

ABC.AZ was informed at the Ministry of Labor & Social Protection that out of 8,000 people involved in the program so far, more than 3,200 people, in accordance with business plans, have received assets in the form of goods and materials, and small family farms have been created.

In general, during 2020 the program plans to provide access to small businesses for 12,000 families. During the implementation of the program, preference is given to persons with disabilities, families of martyrs, internally displaced persons, family members receiving targeted social assistance, and women.
