Putin talks about Karabakh: We`ll find a solution to satisfy people in region


November 5, Fineko/abc.az. Russian President Vladimir Putin, speaking about the conflict in the South Caucasus, said that he is in favor of ending it.

ABC.AZ reports that the Russian leader said this at a meeting with representatives of religious associations on the National Unity Day.

He noted that Russia is doing everything in its power to put an end to the conflict in the South Caucasus and is trying to protect the lives of people who oppose each other, but at the same time aim at each other to achieve their goals.

"We’re deeply convinced that as a result of the negotiation process, a peaceful solution to the conflict could be found. Russia is in contact with both Armenia and Azerbaijan. I hope we’ll achieve a result that will satisfy all residents of the region," President Putin said.
