Those who came to fight in Karabakh from Abkhazia to be arrested - investigation launched

November 12, Fineko/abc.az. The Prosecutor General's Office of Azerbaijan has conducted an investigation based on the materials related to a group of people living in Abkhazia (Georgia) who committed crimes against Azerbaijan.

ABC.AZ was informed at the PGOA press service that the investigation found out that Seyran Kojamanyan, Galust Trapizonyan and others living in Abkhazia in October 2020 mobilized a group of more than 20 individuals who held a meeting with the leadership of the separatist regime of Nagorno-Karabakh. Then they entered into criminal relations with persons located in the occupied territories of the Republic of Azerbaijan, United with them in a criminal group, illegally crossed the internationally recognized state border of Azerbaijan without the necessary documents and outside the checkpoints, that is, through Armenia, and entered the territory of the city of Khankendi and other occupied territories, they were used by the military-political regime of Armenia as mercenaries against the civilian population and participating in anti-terrorist operations of the Azerbaijani armed forces.

The PGOA has initiated a criminal case on the fact.
