February 15, Fineko/abc.az. The 4th meeting of the Southern Gas Corridor Advisory Council has been held in Baku.

Turkish Minister of Energy & Natural Resources Berat Albayrak has stated at the meeting that the ceremony of launch of Trans-Anatoliya gas pipeline (TANAP) will take place in July 2018.

Earlier, when meeting with Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev, the Turkish minister said that the process of TANAP testing began in January 2018.

Supplies of Azerbaijani gas to Turkey via TANAP will start at the end of June 2018. In the first year the volume of deliveries of gas to Turkey will reach 2 bn cu m, in the second year 4 bn cu m, and in the third year 6 bn cu m.
