November 26, Fineko/abc.az. A Memorandum of Understanding has been signed between the Azerbaijani State Service for Property Issues and ESRI of the U.S. on cooperation in the field of geographical information systems.

ABC.AZ reports that during the online event Deputy Economy Minister Rovshan Najaf informed about the measures taken in Azerbaijan in the field of economic and geographical information, noting that cooperation with ESRI will expand.

Service’s deputy head Rustam Shakhbazov noted that in the field of real estate management, information systems for electronic cadastral registration of land and address register have been put into operation, and appropriate measures are currently being taken to form national spatial information, create an appropriate information system and integrate it into the e-government information system.
