December 16, Fineko/abc.az. The State Statistics Committee has published statistics of employees in some spheres.

ABC.AZ reports that as of 1 December 33,900 people were employed in the oil and gas sector of the economy, and 1.65 million people in the non–oil sector.

24.6% of salaried employees of enterprises and organizations worked in the production sector, including 8.0% in construction, 7.7% in manufacturing, 3.5% in agriculture, forestry and fishing, 2.0% in mining, 1.7% in water supply, waste treatment and processing, 1.7% in the production, distribution and supply of electricity, gas and steam. Of those working in the service sector, 19.5% were employed in education, 18.2% in trade; vehicle repair, 8.2% in health & social services to the population, 6.6% in public administration and defense; social security, 4.7% in administrative and support services, 4.5% in transport and warehousing, 3.4% in professional, scientific and technical activities, 3.2% in recreation, entertainment and art, 1.8% in financial and insurance activities, 1.7% in ICT, 1.5% in tourist accommodation and catering, 1.1% in services in other areas, and 1.0% in real estate operations.
