December 17, Fineko/abc.az. To date, the mortality rate among Covid-19 patients in Azerbaijan is 1.1%.

2,050 out of the 187,336 registered coronavirus patients in the country have died.

In total, 74.536 million corona infection cases have been registered around the world today, and 1.655 million of them have died – the mortality rate is 2.2%.

According to Covid-19 Task Force under the Cabinet Ministers, as of 16 December the number of virus-infected people in the country has reached totally 187,336 people, and 122,859 ones of them have already recovered. Currently, there are 62,427 active patients. So far, 2,050 people have died from the virus. Yesterday, 4,077 new cases of coronavirus infection were registered. Azerbaijan has carried out 1,998,577 tests since the beginning of the virus outbreak.
