Gasoline price rise in Armenia as economic problems deepen

17:29 - 23.12.2020

December 23, Fineko/abc.az. The economic turmoil in Armenia continues after the war.

ABC.AZ reports that in November the high demand for dollars in Armenia led to a reduction in the cost of the dram and, thus, a rise in the price of imported goods, including fuel.

Thus, the price of gasoline grew by several percent up to 370 drams (1.20 manats). Experts believe that liquefied gas can rise in price after gasoline.

The increase in the price of gasoline has led to double growth in prices for taxi services.
