Foreign Affairs Ministry protested to Luxembourg parliament

December 25, Fineko/abc.az. On 24 December, the Chamber of Deputies of the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg adopted a biased resolution on the liberated Karabakh region of Azerbaijan.

ABC.AZ reports that the resolution put forward by the pro-Armenian member of the Christian Socialist Political Party, Claude Wieseler, distorts the truth about the situation in the region and makes absolutely unfounded accusations against Azerbaijan and Turkey.

"Despite the absence of any legal force of the resolution, the speech of the Luxembourg Parliament with documents that contradict international law and UN Security Council resolutions, making false accusations without studying the situation in the region, indicates the biased position of this body. We would like to emphasize that the adoption of such biased and provocative documents will not be an obstacle to the further development and progress of the region on the basis of respect for the principles of international law," the Azerbaijani Ministry of Foreign Affairs says in the statement.
