Heads of Azerbaijani and Armenian security services held a meeting

January 11, Fineko/abc.az. Azerbaijani Security Service’s head Col-Gen Ali Nagiyev and Armenian Security Service’s director Armen Abazyan held a meeting on 8 January on the neutral territory at the site of the Azerbaijani-Armenian border, passing through Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic. On 10 January, their meeting took place in the border settlements of Vorotan and Shurnukh in Syunik district of Armenia.

ABC.AZ reports that during the two meetings the parties discussed the issues of joint investigation of incidents on the border of the two countries, ensuring the security of the Nagorno-Karabakh and other liberated territories of Azerbaijan, identifying burial sites of military personnel in the combat zone and exchanging prisoners, as well as clarifying the fate of missing persons and hostages during the First and Second Karabakh Wars.
