Azerbaijan reports an increase on number of employees by over 2%

January 13, Fineko/abc.az. As of 1 December 2020 the number of employees in the Azerbaijani economy reached 1,684,500 people (a rise of 40,200 people, or 2.4% versus the 2019 same term), ABC.AZ reports with reference to the State Statistics Committee.

Of them, 917,800 employees are engaged in the state sector of the economy, and 766,700 in the private sector.
