Hybrid power plant under construction in Azerbaijan

January 14, Fineko/abc.az. New solar and hydroelectric power plants are being built in the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic with taking into account the future prospects.

ABC.AZ reports that thanks to this, the NAR has not only met the demand for electricity at the expense of the domestic generation, but also created export opportunities.

For the first time, a new wind-solar hybrid power plant is being built in Julfa district of the NAR. It will use 3,400 solar panels with capacity of 280 watts and 5 wind turbines with capacity of 10 kW, 20 solar panels with capacity of 50 kW and 5 wind inverters with capacity of 10 kW.
