SOCAR drilling units drilled 56,000 m last year

January 18, Fineko/abc.az. A significant decrease in drilling operations for 2020, as well as in case with oil production, is linked with the implementation of the OPEC deal.

ABC.AZ was informed at SOCAR that the drilling by SOCAR's drilling units in 2020 amounted to 55,906 m.

The company independently or as the main shareholder produced 7.4 million tons of oil and 7.3 bn cu m of gas on the operated fields.

The trend of growth in total gas production in the country continued.
