Oil prices change weakly, and Brent is at $55.37 a barrel

January 25, Fineko/abc.az. Prices for oil of standard grades are slightly changing during Monday’s trading after small changes at the end of last week.

By 9:40 am, in trading at the London ICE Futures Exchange the price of March’s Brent crude oil futures fell by $0.04 (0.07%) to $55.37 per barrel. At the end of trading on 22 January the Brent futures for March fell in price by $0.69 (1.23%) to $55.41 per barrel.

By 9:40 am, at the New York Mercantile Exchange (NYMEX) the March WTI oil futures rose in price by $0.01 (0.02%) up to $52.28 per barrel. At the end of trading on 22 January the WTI futures for March declined by $0.86 (1.62%) to $52.27 per barrel.

Last week, Brent crude oil increased by 0.6%, while the March WTI futures contract dropped by 0.3%.
