Optimistic outlook about Turkish lira

January 25, Fineko/abc.az. Investment bank Goldman Sachs has changed its forecasts on the occasion of the dollar/TL exchange rate.

ABC.AZ reports with reference to the Bank that the Turkish lira will rise in price, but may be limited.

Bank's analysts believe the Turkish lira is one of the currencies that has shown the best performance against the dollar in the markets of developing countries since the beginning of 2021.

The dollar/TL ratio stopped at 7.4170 last Friday. Since the record fall on 6 November 2020, the Turkish lira has risen more than by 14%.
