Appeals made to 37 states on crimes committed by Armenia

January 25, Fineko/abc.az. An expanded board meeting has been held at the Prosecutor General's Office of Azerbaijan.

ABC.AZ reports that at the meeting Prosecutor General Kamran Aliyev touched upon a range of important questions.

He noted that 93 people, including 12 minors and 27 women, were killed during the 44-day war as a result of the shelling of the civilian population by the Armenian armed forces.

"A search has been launched on 62 criminal cases against 21 people. Letters about the crimes committed by Armenia were sent to the prosecutors general and justice ministers of 25 countries and requests for legal assistance to 46 competent authorities of 37 foreign countries,” Aliyev emphasized.
