January 29, Fineko/abc.az. Today, around 11 am, Elmaddin Mirzoyev, the head of the office of the Azerbaijan National Agency for Mine Action (ANAMA) sent to Agdam district for search of unexploded ordnance, has struck a mine.

ABC.AZ reports that as a result of the mine explosion, Mirzoev received an injury to the heel area of his left leg. His foot was amputated, and he also has numerous injuries as a result of shrapnel. Employees of the prosecutor's office conducted an inspection of the scene of the incident, appointed a forensic medical examination, and performed other procedural actions.

A criminal case was initiated on the fact under Articles 100.2 and 116.0.6 of the Criminal Code of Azerbaijan.
