ABC.AZ reports that President Ilham Aliyev said this during the video reception of a delegation led by Fabrizio di Amato, chairman of Italian company Maire Tecnimont Group.

"Of course, your activities in Azerbaijan and the projects you are implementing help us increase the non-energy sector of our industry. I can tell you that despite the pandemic and last year's economic downturn in Azerbaijan (4.3%), our non-energy industry grew by 12.5%. This is a real demonstration of the industrialization program, and cooperation with a leading international company such as Maire Tecnimont, which has certainly helped and will help us in the future," the president said.
