February 10, Fineko/abc.az. Azerbaijani Energy Minister Parviz Shahbazov held a video conference with Luka Shippati, the executive director of TAP AG, the operator of Trans-Adriatic gas pipeline, ABC.AZ was informed at the Ministry of Energy of Azerbaijan.

The parties highly appreciated the completion of the TAP project in the planned time frame and noted that the start of commercial operation of the pipeline is an important step towards the full launch of the Southern Gas Corridor. TAP, by linking Azerbaijan with Europe for a long period, further strengthens the country's role as a strategic partner in energy security, cooperation and sustainable development.
