Central Bank sold $56.1 million to banks at a currency auction

February 11, Fineko/abc.az. The Central Bank of Azerbaijan has conducted a currency auction with the participation of the State Oil Fund.

The CBA informs that $56.1 million was sold to banks at today’s auction.

"The demand from banks at the currency auction amounted to $56.1 million and was fully met," the CBA said in a statement.

At the end of the auction, the weighted average exchange rate of the manat to the US dollar was AZN 1.70.
