February 12, Fineko/abc.az. President Ilham Aliyev delivered speech yesterday at the VII Ministerial Meeting in the video conference format within the framework of the Southern Gas Corridor Advisory Council.

ABC.AZ reports that touching upon a range of questions, the head of state emphasized:

Speaking about the SGC project, he noted: "We managed to implement a project that some did not consider real. Looking at the SGC project, you can see that it is unique in many ways. Its length is 3,500 km, the project unites seven countries. If there were no close cooperation between these countries, its implementation would be impossible. The pipeline runs through very complex geographical areas, mountains with height of 2,500 m and its more than 100-km section through the bottom of the Adriatic Sea.”
